I was born in Narthakio of Farsala and grew up in Farsala, while I live permanently in the city of Larissa.

I am a graduate of the Law School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, holder of a Master of Business Administration - MBA from the University of Thessaly and I am fluent in English.

I am a practicing lawyer at the Supreme Court, with a focus on Criminal and Administrative Law.

I have been politically active in New Democracy since my student years as a member of the Student Independent Movement (M.A.K.I.), DAP-NDFK and subsequently as an active member of ONNED.

I was the President of the Sarakatsana Students' Association of Athens, during my studies, while I was an elected member of the Board of Directors. of the Panhellenic Sarakatsana Federation (P.O.S.S.).

I was elected Municipal Councilor of Farsala and served two consecutive terms as President of the Electoral District Steering Committee (D.E.P.) of Larisa prefecture of the New Republic from 2016 to 2021.

I have been a member of the Professional Sports Committee (E.E.A.).

In the elections of May and June 2023, I was elected deputy of the prefecture of Larissa with 25,511 votes.

I am married to the teacher Fani Papanikou and I have three sons, Dimitris, Yiannis and Filippos.
