Tour of the 3rd grade of the 15th High School of Larissa by Christos Kapetanos, at the Hellenic Parliament
The Member of Parliament for Larisa of the New Republic, Mr. Christos Kapetanos, during their planned educational visit to the Hellenic Parliament.
The students, accompanied by their teachers, Mr. Papadopoulou, Lekaki, Zavara, Kyriazi, were guided around the premises of the historic building, getting to know first-hand the parliamentary process and the importance of democracy in the functioning of the state.
Larissa MP Christos Kapetanos was present on the tour, who explained to the children the work of the parliament and the responsibility that each member of parliament bears towards the citizens, the Prefecture and the country.
Mr. Captain, in his address to the students, emphasized the importance of youth participation in democratic processes and urged them to continue learning, judging and claiming their dreams.
Particularly moved, he underlined his connection with this particular school, as his own children attend and studied at the 15th Gymnasium.
"The Parliament of the Greeks is the house of Democracy. This is where the heart of our culture beats. It is a great pleasure to see young people interested in the institutions and gain experiential contact with the functioning of the Republic. I wish everyone good progress and a future full of success," said Mr. Captain.
Mr. Captain renewed his appointment with the High School students for future meetings, stating the need for all agencies and the State to support the new generation of Larissa, but also of our Country more broadly.
Finally, the Larissa MP congratulated the school's teachers and the principal, Mr. Zacho for the educational object of the excursion.
